Young Coders World Cup (YCWC) 2026 is an international training and competition program in the field of Coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI), combining training and competition, involving more than 10,000 students from kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, and vocational levels across more than 20 cities in 10 countries. YCWC is here to nurture a generation of young minds who are not only skilled in coding, but also capable of creating AI solutions that make a real impact on everyday life, this is what we call the Impactful AI Generation.

Under the theme “AI For Daily Life: Empowering Young Innovators to Build AI Solutions for Everyday Challenges”, YCWC is more than just a competition it is a global movement to shape the Impactful AI Generation; young people who are ready to create AI technology that is innovative, inclusive, and truly beneficial for society. Because we believe that the greatest changes of the future will come from the hands of today’s Young Coders.

Theme: AI For Daily Life

Build AI projects that solve everyday life challenges in creative ways! This category is designed to encourage students to think critically and innovatively in leveraging AI technology as real solutions for daily life. From digital stories to interactive websites, every project is expected to reflect how AI can make life easier, safer, and more meaningful for the community.

Complete Your Registration

Fill in your personal details, school information, competition category, and registration fee (if applicable) accurately and completely through the official YCWC registration website

Verify Your Registration

Monitor your registration status until it has been verified by the admin on the official YCWC registration portal

Submit Your Project

Upload your project on the YCWC registration website and make sure your submission is fully finalized before the designated deadline

Attend the Competition According to Schedule

Prepare yourself and participate in the full series of competition stages based on the schedule set for your city

Terms and Conditions

  1. Participants must be students aged 5–18 years old and must register for the appropriate age level within the Coding & AI category.
  2. Registration is free for Timedoor Academy students and partner schools. A registration fee of USD 15 applies for all other participants. All registrations must be completed with accurate personal and school data before project submission is accepted.
  3. Projects must be original, created individually or as a team, follow the theme AI For Daily Life, and not previously submitted in other competitions.
  4. Any form of fraud, plagiarism, or rule violation may result in disqualification or revocation of awards.

Everything You Need to Know

YCWC 2026 is an international training and competition program in the field of Coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI), involving more than 50,000 students across 25 cities in 10 countries. Under the theme “AI For Daily Life”, YCWC stands as a global movement to shape the Impactful AI Generation young people who are capable of creating AI solutions that are innovative, inclusive, and truly beneficial for society

YCWC 2026 is organized by Timedoor Academy (PT. Cerdas Digital Indonesia), a global IT education institution with experience training more than 25,000 students and 300+ teachers across multiple countries

The competition is held across 25 cities in 10 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, UAE, and Others. Participants from countries without a local exhibition stage will compete through the online Preliminary Selection before advancing to the National and International stages

The competition is open to students aged 5–18 years old, from kindergarten through high school level. Participants can register through the Partner School track (free) or the Independent track (USD 15 registration fee)

Registration follows these steps:

Choose the appropriate competition level within the Coding & AI category
Fill in the official registration form with accurate personal and school data
Confirm your registration track (Partner School or Independent)
Join the preparation workshop (if available in your area)
Attend the competition according to the schedule

Free for Timedoor Academy students and partner schools · USD 15 for independent participants

There is one main competition category:
Coding & AI — participants create AI-powered digital projects using platforms such as Scratch, Pictoblox, or website development (HTML/CSS/JS), all aligned with the theme “AI For Daily Life”. Project types vary by age level:

Age 5–8 (Starter): 3D Game / AI Story using Kodu
Age 8–12 (Beginner): Digital Project with AI using Scratch/Pictoblox
Age 13–15 (Intermediate): Digital Project with AI using Scratch/Pictoblox
Age 15–18 (Senior): Website with AI using HTML, CSS, JS

The competition consists of the following stages:

Workshop — April–August 2026 (at each partner school)
Registration — May 25–September 30, 2026
National Exhibition — October 1–30, 2026 (within each respective country)
International Grand Final — November 20–21, 2026, Online via Zoom

The total prize pool is USD 10,000, which includes:
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category at the National and International levels
Scholarships for selected winners
International certificates for all participants
The opportunity to compete on an international stage representing your country

Projects must be created independently by participants. However, teachers and parents are permitted to provide general guidance during the workshop preparation process. The final submitted project must represent the participant’s own original work

For the National stage, participants may present in their respective local language. For the International Grand Final, all presentations must be conducted in English
